Lots of nice textures to lookat here, and the blue blanket really pulls her eyes out at you. Do you set these up, or is it a cooperative effort deciding on colors and props?
I tend to do a lot of shoots with my good friend *AlaskaPhoto. Jaime popped in those bright blue contacts, and I don't recall whether it was Dave or I (it was probably Dave) that thought of the blue satin, but all three of us decided definitely "yes!" when he pulled it out of our prop room. Another trip to the prop room and the red was put into the picture... Long story short, it was pretty much collaborative, as are most of the photos we do. It helped a lot that Jaime was willing to work with any idea we came up with. It was a really fun shoot.

Thanks, again! Love the 30D. It's my buddy *AlaskaPhoto's camera. I've been using it on shoots lately--better glass than my 20D, and a little faster on the focus. Even though the 20D and the 30D are pretty similar, I'm a lot more confident with the 30D.

Now it's time for August 2008 Visual Art Features, many new art to discover!
Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it! Fave Fave Fave! My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations. Artists need to be supported. So don't be shy!
